October 2008: Guinness meets Fraunhofer
Three tackle balls, four balls with chips, a handfull of rugby players specifically flown in from Dublin and an extraordinarily motivated crew were some of the ingredients for a shooting of the London based production company DAB HAND MEDIA in Nuernberg.
Fraunhofer Institute IIS of Erlangen sponsored by Guinness brewery ordered a commercial featuring their 3D sports analysing system on a microwave tracking basis. DAB HAND´s staff created a highly impressive movie; MM FILM & VIDEO provided with gear (i.e. RED ONE und XDCAM HD cameras) and assisted in shooting on location.
